Volleyball conference champs

Montini Catholic High School congratulates the Lady Broncos Volleyball Program. Although their season came to an end during the second round of regional action, the Lady Broncos Volleyball program captured the Conference Championship this year on all three levels and finished with a 21-22 record; much improved from a season ago (14-19).

Bridget Lucas, a junior from Oak Brook, reached a personal milestone in the Lady Broncos Round 2 Regional match-up against Immaculate Conception. She eclipsed the 1,000 career digs mark and now has 1015 for her career with her senior campaign still head of her. Lucas, the team’s Libero, has averaged nearly 10 digs/game for her career.
