Elise Woulfe of Western Springs graduated in June from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish. She graduated with high honors (over a 3.61 GPA), as well as graduated Cum Laude (over a 3.7 GPA). She also received a minor in marketing and certificates in business Spanish and Latin American studies. She was on the dean’s list for all three years of undergraduate studies, and was named to the Big East All-Academic Team every year.
She was also inducted into the Legion of Excellence, the highest academic honor a student-athlete can receive at the University of Cincinnati, and was named the “Female Greek Athlete of the Year” for the University of Cincinnati.
Suzanne Zumpano, a graduate of Lyons Township High School and Northern Illinois University School of Nursing, has completed her master of nursing in administration from Benedictine University. She as also inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, and received a Daisy Award for nursing excellence.
Janae L. Sims of Westchester and Timothy S. Haraf of Western Springs both earned bachelor of science degrees at the conclusion of the 2011-2012 academic year at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.
The University of Dayton in Ohio named students to its dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2011-2012 academic year, including:

Allison Miller of Western Springs, a music education major, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, located in Princeton, N.J.
