Clarendon Hills police blotter for July 30

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Clarendon Hills Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BURGLARY

A set of golf clubs was reported stolen at 12:21 a.m. July 28 from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 200 block of Oxford Avenue. The clubs were recovered when the man who took the clubs dropped them after the owner of the clubs yelled out at him from his residence.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Graffiti was reportedly found on the outside of a building at 12:16 p.m. July 24 on the 400 block of Ogden Avenue.

A home had eggs thrown at 11:43 a.m. July 24 on the 300 block of Western Avenue.

THEFT

A spare tire valued at $500 was reported stolen at 7:50 p.m. July 26 from a truck parked on the first block of Waverly Avenue. The tire was attached to the outside of the truck.

TRAFFIC

Jason Manns, 30, of 6721 Cedar Lane, Westmont, was charged with driving on a revoked license at 10:34 p.m. July 26 at Ogden and Oxford Avenues.

Benjamin Andrews, 20, of 512 Childs St., Wheaton, was charged with driving on a suspended license at 5:36 p.m. July 23 on the 100 block of Burlington Avenue.
