Hinsdale Boy Scout Troop 10 recently completed a High Adventure trek at the Philmont Boy Scout High Adventure Ranch in New Mexico.
The Troop 10 Crew (treks from individual troops are divided into “Crews”) completed a 64 mile, 12-day trek at the Philmont Scout Ranch in the Rockies in the Sangre de Christo Mountains, camping and hiking at altitudes from 6000 to 11,700 feet.
The trip from July 9 to 22 was the first Philmont trip in several years for the Hinsdale Boy Scout troop.
