CLARENDON HILLS — The substantial snowfall across the area Tuesday and Wednesday made for great opportunities to create snowmen, have snowball fights and go sledding.

The Clarendon Hills Park District offers facilities for sledding when conditions permit at Prospect Park and the J. Willis Haythorn Sled Hill in Park Avenue Park.

Several residents on the 400 block of Ridge Avenue took advantage of the snow to build snowmen.
