Three unlocked vehicles burglarized in Clarendon Hills

CLARENDON HILLS — Police are reminding residents to keep vehicle doors locked after three burglaries from unlocked cars were reported during the overnight hours of Jan. 6-7.
Police said they believe the same unknown suspects likely are responsible for two burglaries on the 200 block of Grant Avenue and one on the 200 block of South Prospect Avenue. All three burglaries were reported Jan. 7
A Garmin Nuvi GPS unit valued at $100 and a trailer hitch valued at $50 were reported stolen in the burglary on the 200 block of South Prospect Avenue
A Pittsburgh Penguins money clip with $200 cash and $10 in coins were reported stolen from one of the vehicles on the 200 block of Grant Avenue; less than $5 in loose change was taken from the other vehicle on the same block.
