CLARENDON HILLS — A four-page survey is included in the Clarendon Hills Park District’s Winter/Spring 2013 Program Guide, which is being mailed to Clarendon Hills residents after Thanksgiving. The survey is included in an effort to give residents the opportunity to contribute to the planning and design of future park district programs, park officials said.

The survey includes 25 questions, and residents are being asked to fill out one per household. Additional hard copies of the survey will be available at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 Chicago Ave. The survey also can be completed online at www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org. Park district officials said the online version of the survey is their preferred method of response. The deadline for survey responses is Feb. 1, 2013.

Survey questions include demographics and input about the park district’s Active Learners Preschool, recreation and sports programming, the Lions Park Pool, and senior activities. The survey also seeks information about park use, marketing strategies, facility rentals, and partnerships with other governmental agencies.

“We welcome the thoughtful suggestions of our Clarendon Hills neighbors as we move forward with a long-range plan for the Clarendon Hills Park District,” said Don Scheltens, the park district’s executive director.
