For the first time since taking office in 1998, U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert didn’t have the option to vote for herself when she entered the voting booth.
The Hinsdale Republican `is running as representative in the 11th District but lives in the 5th. Democrat Mike Quigley, Republican Dan Schmitt and Green Party candidate Nancy Wade were Biggert’s choices when casting her vote for Congress.
Biggert’s former 13th District includes much of the new 11th District, where she is facing Democrat Bill Foster in Tuesday’s election.
