Ogden Avenue lights lose power

HINSDALE — Traffic was detoured off Ogden Avenue between Madison Street and Illinois 83 for about two hours Friday afternoon, because of downed power lines. The problem was reported at 12:24 p.m. Friday, ComEd officials said.
By 2:20 p.m., the lines were removed and Ogden was re-opened.
As of 1:30 p.m. Friday, 300 homes and businesses were without electricity due to the problem. ComEd officials did not identify what knocked the lines down.
