Clarendon Hills Cub Scout pack recruiting

CLARENDON HILLS
Cub Scouts and those interested in joining have a chance to see reptiles up close this weekend as Pack 51 kicks off the year with its first pack meeting.
Jim Nesci and his Cold Blooded Creatures will be the evening entertainment, as he shows and teaches about alligators, snakes, lizzards and tortoises.
Nesci and his reptiles have appears “The Oprah Show,” “Animal Planet,” “The Tonight Show,” HGTV, “Regis & Kelly” and “The Today Show.” Hehas also guest lectured at The Shedd Aquarium, Lincoln Park Zoo, The Field Museum and The Academy of Sciences.
The meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, 60 55th St., Clarendon Hills.
The meeting starts with a gathering activity, and Nesci’s program will run from 7-8:30 p.m.
The pack is open to all boys in first through fifth grade from Prospect, Walker, Notre Dame and Avery Coonley schools.
Cub Scouts are encouraged to invite a friend.
