Westview Hills Middle School students who won Outstanding Gold Awards at Saturday’s Maercker Elementary District 60 Science Fair at Westview Hills will advance to March 10 regional science fair competition at Matea Valley High School in Aurora.
Seventh-graders receiving Outstanding Gold Awards were Sayali Amin, Rachel Chen, Bradley Frederick, Zeljko Kospic, Lancelot Lin and Ravali Thimmapuram.
Eighth-grade award winners were Tom Gruchala, Chris Kujalowicz and Cooper Lienhart.
While there is no regional competition for students in third through sixth grades, Outstanding Gold Awards were given to third-graders Rohan Malhotra, Jessica Miller, Sean Smith and Trevor Taylor; fourth-grader Jack Frank; fifth-graders Alexander Fraccaro, Aparna Srinivasan and Tara Tekkey; and sixth-graders James Hsiao, Michael Price, Geeth Tunuguntla and Ethan Wang.
