The Plymouth Place retirement center in LaGrange Park was bubbling with talent Monday with more than 13 acts showcasing the artistry and humor of residents and staff members.
Acts included residents line dancing, singing and playing the autoharp, performing on harmonica, doing a monologue, playing a baritone, reciting a poem and delivering punch lines in a stand-up comedy act.
Employees stepped up to the stage by playing a Turkish instrument, singing, dancing and telling stories.
