Administrators of IHSA member schools have reacted to the Chicago Sun-Times' report concerning the IHSA revenue distribution model.
The Illinois High School Association offers financial guarantees to schools for hosting playoff and championship events. In doing so, the IHSA runs the risk of losing money on poorly-attended events, but makes a big cut on the sporting events that attract a large audience.
