The Chamber is pleased to announce that Gary Beban, senior executive managing director of CB Richard Ellis, will be the keynote speaker at January’s Corporate Community Forum from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Oak Brook Bath Tennis Club, 800 Oak Brook Road.
The next Chamber Networking Breakfast will take place 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Jan. 19 at the Marriott Hotel in Oak Brook. Chamber members and partners are invited to attend this event.
The Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce 2012 Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast will be presented from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on March 14. The Annual Meeting includes an overview of the Chamber’s work over the past year as well as a keynote presentation by Mesirow Financial Chief Economist Diane Swonk. The Chamber will also present annual awards for Business Advocacy, Economic Development and Volunteer of the Year. Chamber members and partners are invited to attend.

Wolf & Company makes a difference
Wolf & Company employees have made a commitment this holiday season to give the gift of giving by participating in various firm sponsored volunteer events. Wolf & Company LLP, located in Oakbrook Terrace, is one of the Chicago area’s largest certified public accounting and consulting firms.
Employees participated in a food drive to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository in an effort to help those in need this holiday season. Through this volunteer effort, 4,225 items were donated.
Forty Wolf & Company employees volunteered at the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Geneva, Ill. Volunteers did a variety of projects, including sorting, evaluating, cleaning and packaging donated food prior to distribution.
The firm also made a donation to Leyden Family Service and Mental Health Center. They provide a variety of counseling, treatment and preventative services for adults, adolescents, children, senior citizens and those that suffer from mental illnesses.
