CLARENDON HILLS — The Clarendon Hills Community Caucus has selected its slate of endorsed candidates for April 9 elections.
Candidates chosen by caucus nominating committees will be presented at a 7:30 p.m. Monday meeting of the general caucus at Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk Ave.
Candidates are being endorsed for the Village, Park and Library boards
Clarendon Hills voters will make their choices for the three local boards during April 9 elections. Three seats on the Village Board and Park Board are up for election; four seats will be open on the Library Board.
Additional nominations may be made from the floor at Monday’s meeting. If necessary, a vote will be taken to determine the caucus-endorsed candidates for the April election.
The following candidates are endorsed by the caucus nominating committees: Don Knoll, incumbent Edward Reid, and Eric Stach for Village Board; Suzanne Austin, Bruce Carlsen and incumbent Greg Johnson for Park Board; and Kim Glowniak, Margaret Kealy, Marcie Purcell, and Joan Tuisl for Library Board.
People interested in serving on any of the government boards can circulate nominating petitions without the endorsement of the caucus. To be listed on the April 9 ballot, candidates must file their completed petitions between Dec. 17 and Dec. 26.
